The “hooq” climbing shoes were developed by Livia and Janick Zumofen and Beat Müller. The industrial design graduates from ZHdK and Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) successfully launched their project on the crowdfunding platform WeMakeIt.

The “hooq” concept is based on customised climbing shoes. With the help of technologies such as foot scanning and 3D printing, the shoes are made sure to fit comfortable and adapt perfectly to the anatomy of the foot. You can support “hooq” through their crowdfunding campaign. More information can be found on the “hooq” website.

By the way: The project was supported with the Z-Kubator grant “What's next_Project” from ZHdK. The funding supports projects with an entrepreneurial focus and is open to projects from the fields of arts, education and design.
