Alumna Dorentina Imeri has won the SSA/Suissimage "Perspektiven Lab" grant at the Solothurn Film Festival for her new film project "Palรซt", her first full-length feature film. Dorentina Imeri receives the grant of 5000 Swiss francs.

ZHdK alumna Dorentina Imeri completed her Bachelor's degree in Film in summer 2022. "With a strong and personal cinematic approach, the director takes up the genre of the closed room (huis-clos) to deconstruct the structural patriarchy that affects women and men equally and to depict the silent resistance of the oppressed," said the jury.

The "Perspectives Lab" supports up-and-coming filmmakers in their entry into professional life and networks them specifically with the national and international film industry in the areas of production, distribution, film criticism and festival programming. Selected film school graduates discuss their film idea with the experts in a closed setting and create a network.
