    SRF shows «Davos 1917»

    ZHdK film alumnus Jan-Eric Mack directed the historical SRF espionage series "Davos 1917". During filming, the director and his team had to face a variety of different challenges.

    Inspired by true events, the historical espionage series "Davos 1917" tells the fictional story of Graubünden nurse Johanna Gabathuler. In the midst of the international war, Johanna enters into a daring deal with the German secret service and becomes an important player in the war of the spies.

    Jan-Eric Mack completed his Master's degree in Film at the ZHdK in 2017. In 2022, he received the Prix Netzhdk, an award from the alumni organization Netzhdk, for his artistic work. In addition to Jan-Eric Mack, other ZHdK alumni are involved in "Davos 1917": Stefan Eichenberger in production, Fabienne Andreoli in editing, Simon Gutknecht in editing.

    Jan-Eric Mack talks about the filming and its challenges in an interview with SRF. All six episodes will be available in German, French and Italian on the Play Suisse streaming platform from December 15. They will be broadcast on SRF 1 on December 17, 18 and 20.
