    “What’s next_Project” is an incubation programme. It is aimed at ZHdK graduates and research staff who wish to develop projects with an entrepreneurial focus in the arts, education and design. From the 21 submissions, the jury selected three projects which will be supported by the “What’s next_Project” incubation programme.

    The 12-month programme starts in January 2024 and includes financial support of CHF 20’000 per project, mentoring & coaching, access to the ZHdK infrastructure, communication and networking opportunities. What’s next_Project is supported by Zürcher Kantonalbank.

    The three funded projects all originate from the ZHdK Department of Design:

    NKO-LAB by Klervie Mouho
    MA Visual Communication (2023)

    NKO-LAB is dedicated to promoting and supporting the learning and development of the N’ko script. 

    KIM – Kontrolle invasiver Mücken by Meret Jans
    BA Industrial Design (2023)

    KIM offers a tool for tiger mosquito control in Switzerland: a concept to protect the health of our biodiversity and people.

    NEUNOI Kindersneaker by Narada Zürrer* & Thibaut Wenger
    BA Industrial Design (2023)

    NEUNOI is a circular sneaker for kids which comes with its own subscription and repair-system.
