The research project “Jeansdinge” by the subject area Trends & Identity was created in collaboration with the Haute école d'art et de design (HEAD) in Geneva and is now accessible online.

The website “Jeansdinge” is the result of an 18-month practice-oriented research project dealing with the Jeansdinge collection of lecturers Katharina Hohmann (HEAD) and Katharina Tietze (ZHdK), which began to grow 20 years ago. In addition to the collection items, the web archive contains many new and older texts, video documentation of the symposium “Jeansdinge on the Move” (March 2022, HEAD-Genève), as well as documentation of exhibition projects realized with the collection. The website also contains 40 short films that artists, designers and students from Geneva and Zurich created last year using objects from the collection.
