Once again, graduates of the Conductors Studio ZHdK have been accepted onto the renowned Dudamel Fellowship Programme of the Los Angeles Philharmonic: Luis Castillo Briceño, student in the Master Specialised Performance with Christoph-Mathias Mueller, and Holly Hyun Choe, graduate of the same programme.

Several graduates of the Conductors Studio ZHdK have already completed the Dudamel Fellowship Program: Luis Toro Araya 2022/23, Nuno Coelho 2018/19, Ruth Reinhardt 2017/18 and Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla 2012/13.
The support programme for promising young conductors was launched in 2009 by Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

To be a Dudamel Fellow for the season 24/25 is truly a dream come true. As a Latin American conductor myself, the opportunity to work and learn from Gustavo Dudamel, together with the LA Philharmonic is an incredible honor.

I am excited for this Fellowship in my home city! I also want to say a big thank you to my dearest professor Johannes Schlaefli, for shaping me into the conductor that I am today. Without his guidance, I could not have made it to this point in my career. I enjoyed so much studying at ZHdK!
