What a success: Our students of the Matthias Racz class take the first three prizes in the bassoon category at the renowned Prague Spring International Music Festival 2022:

    • 1st place: Minju Kim
    • 2.nd place: Kenichi Furuya
    • 3rd place: Minju Kim

The renowned international competition for musicians up to 30 years of age is held every year for two instruments, in 2022 for bassoon and clarinet. It takes place at the beginning of May and the final round is part of the programme of the Prague Spring Festival. In addition to cash prizes, the winners are offered performances in programmes of cooperating concert promoters. The most valuable prize is a performance at the Prague Spring Festival the following year.
In the more than 70 years of its existence, the competition has attracted hundreds of musicians who have gone on to become famous artists of their time.

    Congratulations!
