    Zotero

From 2026, Zotero will be offered as the preferred institutional reference management system at ZHdK. The existing Mendeley licence will continue to run in parallel until 31 January 2027.

The MIZ is supporting the introduction and transition with a range of practical offers and courses.

    Mendeley

Mendeley is a reference management programme and social network for academics.

The basic version is free and includes the Reference Manager (browser application and desktop programme), Mendeley Cite (add-in for Word) and the Web Importer (browser extension).

Mendeley Institutional Edition for Teams (only supported until 2027/01/31)

ZHdK holds a licence for the Mendeley Institutional Edition for Teams, which offers the following benefits to ZHdK members:

    • 100 GB of personal storage
    • Unlimited number of private groups
    • Private groups with up to 100 collaborators
    • 100 GB of group storage
    • Direct links to ZHdK’s electronic resources

You can benefit from the above listed advantages by logging into Mendeley once every twelve months. To do this, make sure you are logged into the ZHdK network (either on-site or via VPN).
