“Tie me up, tie me down” means “I love you” in Almodovar’s vocabulary. His 8th movie and 5th collaboration with actor Antonio Banderas, combining drama and dark comedy, tells the story of Ricky, a 23 year old who just left one of the psychiatric centers where he has been living as an orphan since he was 3. To pursue a normal life he decides to kidnap Marina, a recovering drug addict, former porn actress and the woman he's been long in love with, awaiting the day in which she might start loving him back.
