Applications based on Artificial Intelligence inspire fantasies, arouse fears and present each of us as individuals as well as ZHdK as a university with a number of new and concrete challenges. From 2022 to 2026, the Digital Council conducted systematic AI scouting, with the aim of creating a solid basis for informed discussion and exchange at the university. To this end, the Digital Council's AI Scouts, Grit Wolany and Gunter Lösel, curated content for the public Futures Flipboard as well as the Digital Skills & Spaces blog and designed discussion and life-long learning formats, such as an AI regulars' table for research or a Deep Reading Group, which were dedicated to developing the university members' AI literacy skills.
