Every winter, the Department of Fine Arts at the Zurich University of the Arts auctions off selected artworks by students in cooperation with the ZHdK Foundation. This year, the works will be exhibited in the "Nordraum" (level 3) of the Toni-Areal from 25 November and can be bid for online until 1 December. The exhibition ends on 5 December 2024.
At the "Winter Auction Fine Arts 2024", 25 outstanding works of art by Fine Arts students from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) will be exhibited and auctioned. The works, which were individually selected by a jury for this purpose, range from painting and photography to ceramics and sculpture, and deal with socially relevant topics from the everyday lives of the young artists. They will be on display in an exhibition at the Toni-Areal from 25 November – the auction will take place online. The starting bids are CHF 400 and the proceeds will be invested for a good cause: half will go to the artists and half to the Fondation ZHdK solidarity fund, which uses it to support ZHdK students in financial need.
