Each winter, the Department of Fine Arts at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), in collaboration with the ZHdK Foundation, holds its traditional Winter Auction – a unique opportunity to discover and support emerging artistic voices.
From 2 to 11 December 2025, selected works will be on display in the Nordraum (Level 3) of the Toni-Areal. The online auction runs from 2 to 7 December.
Under the title "Winter Auction Fine Arts 2025", the exhibition showcases 25 outstanding works by Fine Arts students, carefully chosen by a jury. The artworks range from painting, photography and ceramics to sculpture, and reflect the artists’ diverse perspectives on contemporary and social issues.
Starting bids begin at CHF 400. Proceeds are divided equally between the artists and the Fondation ZHdK Solidarity Fund, which supports ZHdK students in financial difficulty.
