    Every semester, ZHdK's Department of Fine Arts presents a series of public talks with various guests from the contemporary art and culture sector. All talks are held in English. Admission is free and no registration is required.

    Hannah Weinberger

    In cooperation with Cabaret Voltaire


    The invitation of Hannah Weinberger connects to the collaboration with Cabaret Voltaire and the shared exploration of “artists’ bars,” which led to the exhibition The Red Herring. Based in Basel, she teaches at the Institute Art Gender Nature at the Academy of Art and Design Basel. Her work has been shown internationally, including at Kunstmuseum Solothurn, Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève, Kunsthaus Bregenz, Lyon Biennale, and the Swiss Institute New York.

    Lewis Davidson

    Lewis Davidson lives and works in London. His work encompasses sculpture, animation, sound, photography and installation. He focuses on the overlooked and inconspicuous elements that make up our everyday living space. Lewis works directly with found objects and develops special processes to transform and redefine the identity of the objects and their connection to value, purpose and place.

    Anne Fellner

    Anne Fellner has been teaching in the BA Fine Arts programme at ZHdK since the autumn semester 2025/26. The Swiss-U.S. artist is based between Berlin and Zurich. Her work explores the narrative role of figuration in painting, where artist, viewer, and figure each compete for the role of protagonist. Alongside her artistic practice, she is also engaged in curatorial projects.

    Gioia Dal Molin

    Since 2025, Gioia Dal Molin has been director of Haus für Kunst Uri in Altdorf. The Zurich-based art historian, curator, and author received her PhD in 2014 on the funding of visual arts in Switzerland. From 2015 to 2019, she directed the Cultural Foundation of the Canton of Thurgau; from 2020 to 2024, she served as Head Curator and Artistic Director of Istituto Svizzero in Rome, Milan, and Palermo.
