Coursework and duration

The “CAS Church Music Organ” runs for two years (4 semesters) and comprises a workload of around 900 hours (30 ECTS points). This includes classroom teaching on the one hand and self-study on the other (incl. internships, examinations in the major, a thesis and examinations in the minor).

During the academic year, the studies are carried out independently. Presence is compulsory for 80% of the time.

Study periods

The course starts in the autumn semester. Clases are held on Wednesdays, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (in the second year, only to 7:00 p.m.) and on Saturday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (according to the timetable). 

Course weeks: 38–40 / 43–51 / 2–4 / 11–16 / 19–25.

The examination weeks are weeks 23–27.
