    Programme objective

The CAS Jazz and Pop Performance builds on an individual assessment and includes the following study objectives:

    • Acquisition of skills in the most popular styles of jazz, pop, rock, funk and Latin
    • Playing in a band
    • Developing a wide and varied repertoire
    • Incorporating elements of jazz, rock and pop into the student's teaching practice

    Qualification

The course of study concludes with a «Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS)». The certificate describes the work performed (classroom instruction and self-study) and confirms successful participation in the course. No grade is given.

The final assignment consists of a written reflection on the individual learning goals set at the beginning of the program and on one’s own learning process. The reflection is submitted via the PAUL learning platform at the end of the academic year.
