    Programme objective

    The CAS Jazz and Pop Performance builds on an individual assessment and includes the following study objectives:

    • Acquisition of skills in the most popular styles of jazz, pop, rock, funk and Latin
    • Playing in a band
    • Developing a wide and varied repertoire
    • Incorporating elements of jazz, rock and pop into the student's teaching practice

      Qualification

      The course of study is completed with a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS). The certificate describes the work performed (classroom instruction and self-study) and confirms successful participation in the course. No grade is given.

      The degree includes a written reflection on the individual learning objectives formulated at the beginning of the course of study and the learning process that has taken place. This is submitted to the main subject lecturer and the study secretariat at the end of the academic year.
