Content

The flexible study model allows you to individually weight your needs and priorities and design your continuing education programme accordingly. Get to know the “jazz-rock-pop vocabulary” in terms of melody, rhythm, phrasing, and improvisation in more depth or try out new solo and improvisation concepts. The different teaching contingents give you the opportunity to freely determine the content and scope of your continuing education. The centrepiece of the course is the one-to-one tuition. 


The “CAS Performance Jazz and Pop” concludes with a written reflection on the individual learning objectives formulated at the beginning of the course and the learning process that has taken place.

Structure of the CAS programme

The “CAS Performance Jazz and Pop” includes lessons in a core subject of your choice in an individually selectable contingent:

In addition, the main areas of study can be experienced, deepened and reflected upon in the context of individual observations in group courses or one-to-one lessons.

Additional elective content (subject to a fee)
In case of interest, group courses can be selected from the open courses offered as part of the bachelor's and master's programmes. Admission is subject to the fulfilment of artistic and content-related requirements, as well as the availability of places.
