    Content

The flexible study model of the “CAS Performance Jazz and Pop” programme allows participants to tailor the emphasis on specific areas and their individual needs. The continuing education programme can thus be specifically tailored to personal goals and artistic development.

Participants deepen their understanding of the jazz, rock and pop vocabulary in the areas of melody, rhythm, phrasing and improvisation, or develop new approaches to solo and improvisational practice.
One central component of the programme is one-to-one tuition. The varying number of tuition hours available allows for the content and scope of the further education to be tailored to individual needs.

The “CAS Performance Jazz and Pop” concludes with a written reflection on the individual learning objectives set at the start of the programme and on the participant’s own learning process.

    Structure of the CAS programme

The “CAS Performance Jazz and Pop” includes lessons in a core subject of your choice in an individually selectable contingent:

In case of interest, group courses can be selected from the open courses offered as part of the bachelor's and master's programmes. Admission is subject to the fulfilment of artistic and content-related requirements, as well as the availability of places.
