The focus of this programme is individual coaching, in which participants analyse their own teaching practice and role as a teacher. Using video recordings and/or classroom visits, participants develop precise, objective observations; reflecting on these leads to further development and small changes that make teaching engaging, exploratory and varied.
Target audience
The course is aimed at teachers of instrumental and vocal music (both one-to-one and group lessons), basic music education, and music and movement education (including within the context of special educational needs), who wish to reflect on and further develop their teaching.

- Different approaches/methods of lesson design in challenging situations

- Recognizing students' prerequisites and designing lessons in line with developmental logic
- Practice coaching with your own students
- Verbal and nonverbal communication in teaching
- Your own energy use as a teacher
Dates
The module includes five hours of one-to-one coaching and some independent work. If desired, you can also book twice the number of hours.
Students may start at any time. Dates are agreed with the mentor.

CHF 850
If you book the double number of hours (10 hours of coaching) directly, you will receive a discount of CHF 100. Please note this on the registration form.
