    Competence

    • To develop a coherent stage presence as well as musical and theatrical confidence.
       
    • To learn ways of working and practising that help develop your own stage presence and explore musical and dramaturgical issues both on your own and, if required, in a leading role with an ensemble.
       
    • To master artistic methods of structuring, notating and inspiring musical, theatrical and interdisciplinary processes.

    • To handle contemporary coordination strategies and visual and expanded forms of notation to allow you to adapt or develop suitable approaches to notation and coordination on your own projects as well. This includes projects connecting improvisation and composition as well as intermedial and musical and theatrical work.
       
    • To enhance individually selected skills in tutorials between the two contact modules and put these into practice in the final project.
       
    • Students are taught to think musically in specific contexts (spatial, visual, interdisciplinary) and to take a creative and professional approach to music and dramaturgy.
    • Individually selected competences are deepened in mentor sessions between the two contact modules and applied in the final project.

      Qualification

      CAS Creation & Scenario in Music

      The degree programme is completed with a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS). The certificate confirms that the holder participated in the CAS, and describes the subjects and courses attended.
      Students must provide evidence of 450 hours of work (classroom teaching and self-study) to graduate. This is equivalent to coursework of 15 ECTS points.
      The CAS is completed without an examination. Students do not receive a mark.
