    Application fee
    A one-time application and admission fee of CHF 200 is to be paid upon initial registration.

    Tuition fee
    Contingent A
    14 × 30 min. of main subject tuition: CHF 2800 per academic year

    Contingent B
    14 × 45 min. of main subject tuition: CHF 3700 per academic year

    Contingent C
    14 × 60 min. of main subject tuition: CHF 4600 per academic year

    Contingent D
    28 × 45 min. of main subject tuition: CHF 6,400 per academic year

    Contingent E
    28 × 60 min. of main subject tuition: CHF 8,200 per academic year

    A semester invoice will be issued in July and January.
    Payment in instalments is possible. The first instalment of the payment must be made before the start of the semester.
    Outstanding payments will result in exclusion from the programme.

    Group courses as part of open courses in the Bachelor's and Master's programs:
    Course with 1 ECTS credits, duration 1 semester, CHF 510
    Course with 2 ECTS credits, duration 1 semester, CHF 1020


    Admission interview/assesment

    April

    Admission interview with the head of programme and the head of the continuing education music programme to clarify personal learning goals and the study plan for the CAS year. The points discussed will then be recorded in an agreement. The interview will take place by individual arrangement on site at the Toni-Areal or online.

      You can interrupt the application process at any time and complete it at a later date. The information you have entered will be saved. Mandatory fields are marked with a *.

      Once you have entered all your information, complete the process by clicking on “Finish entry”. The data can no longer be amended. Your submission will be reviewed by the Continuing Education Office.

      If you already have a ZHdK login, you can sign in with your normal access data. Those without a ZHdK login require a SWITCH edu-ID in order to apply online.

      Curriculum Vitae
      A brief and clear list of your education and professional career history.

      Covering letter
      Set out your reason for applying for the continuing education degree programme on a maximum of one side of A4. If you do not have a university degree, please describe your professional experience up to this point and why you are applying for your chosen continuing education degree programme (maximum of two sides of A4).

      Photo of yourself in JPG format
      Upload a recent photo in passport photo quality (at least 320 x 400 pixels). The photo must be high-contrast and your face must be clearly visible. It may not feature other people or objects.

      Social security number
      If you live or work in Switzerland, you will find your Swiss social security number (756…) on your OASI card or on your Swiss health insurance card.

      The documents must be uploaded in PDF format. If you have several individual PDF files, you can upload these one after another.

    • Additional documents to be submitted

      For your portfolio, please create a PDF document with links (to YouTube, Vimeo, Cloud, etc.) to 3 to 5 works/excerpts (audio, video, score, etc.) and upload it as part of your application under ‘Portfolio PDF’.
