Extended Music Education

The ZHdK Continuing Education Centre offers the following curricular study courses and degrees in the area of “Extended Music Education”.

Please note: All study courses and degrees in the field of Extended Music Pedagogy are offered exclusively in German.

Programmes

CAS – Certificate of Advanced Studies

→ Applied Music Education
→ Specialization in Music Education
→ Conducting children's choir
→ Making music in a classroom-setting
 

CAS – Certificate of Advanced Studies

→ Music Education plus

This module can be completed with an individually defined study focus: Parent-child singing and music-making, inclusion in music lessons, music theory/composition, and others.
 

DAS – Diploma of Advanced Studies

→ Musikaliche Grundausbildung (MGA)

Further degrees

The following certificate degree takes into account study achievements already completed (CAS/DAS degrees) and enables the competences acquired to be summarised and demonstrated within the framework of an extended degree.
