    Short description

From the idea to implementation โ€“ supporting teams and organisations effectivly

The CAS Facilitating Innovation focuses on practical applications and helps to develop an individual profile as a facilitator. Innovation and transformation processes, especially in times of AI, require for people to work together across disciplines, teams and roles. Formerly known as CAS Design Methods, the revised CAS Facilitating Innovation course teaches methods and tools for effectively facilitating change.

The CAS Facilitating Innovation is completed over a period of five months. It consists of a total of seven teaching modules, each lasting three days. Participants study certain methods of their choice in greater depth in an individual dissertation and develop those methods with the assistance of an experienced coach. The resulting outcomes and experiences feed into an online collection of methodologies.

    Target audience

The CAS Facilitating Innovation is aimed at people in all positions and sectors who would like to enhance their methodological skills with design-based procedures and techniques and apply them successfully to innovation, strategic and transformation processes.

    • Designers and creative people who would like to broaden their methodological skills and apply them to new areas
    • Specialists in different disciplines who want to acquire specifically design-based methods and use them successfully
    • Managers who specifically want to promote user focus and human-centred innovation and anchor them in their corporate culture

    Positioning

In the context of the MAS Strategic Design, the CAS Facilitating Innovation focuses on the aspect of effective support in transformation projects. The course is therefore particularly suitable for people who want to expand their methodological skills, apply them in a targeted manner, empower people and thus transform companies.
