    Target audience

The CAS Games and Play in Virtual Spaces is aimed at people with a diverse professional profile who bring experience from technical, visual, musical, narrative, or other relevant areas.

The target audience is particularly composed of:

    • People who want to establish game design in their own field and gain a basic understanding of the production process.
    • People with a visual or conceptually oriented professional background, such as graphic designers, architects, illustrators, etc.
    • People in creative technical professions, such as computer science, electronics, and engineering.
    • People who work in contexts such as film, theatre, literature, and who deal with the realisation of narrative material or storytelling in general.
    • People with a background in the design, creation, or production of artistic products in all contexts of design and the arts who want to expand their skill set in the direction of game design and game development.

A fundamental interest in exploring gaming culture and digital games is required. The Games & Play in Virtual Spaces is specifically designed to provide a simplified entry into the MA Game Design or a related course of study for career changers with a bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline.
