    Educational objectives

      There is nothing magical about game development. The CAS Games and Play in Virtual Spaces aims to provide participants with an overview of the design and implementation of digital games and interactive experiences.

      Graduates of the CAS Games and Play in Virtual Spaces:

      • Are familiar with the characteristics and opportunities of virtual spaces.
      • Have the basic design tools to develop games and game-based virtual spatial experiences.
      • Understand the necessary production steps of digital games and can incorporate their own skills into a project.
      • Have basic theoretical and practical skills in the visual, technical and conceptual area that facilitate independent learning and access to further education or employment in the profession.
      • Examine games from new perspectives, and can reflect on their effect.
      • Build their profile in the original professional context and have knowledge of motivation design, design of digital spaces and key technologies such as game engines.
      • Position themselves and network successfully in the game design and virtual space design areas.
