    More: CAS Visual Storytelling

    Eligibility and admission requirements

    Target audience

The CAS Visual Storytelling is aimed at designers, typographers, media professionals and artists who already work with typography, photography, layout and visual communication and would like to improve their skills in the areas of visual storytelling, editorial design and hybrid publication formats. It is also suitable for designers with a core subject in classical editorial design who would like to learn about, explore and integrate the potential benefits of digital publications and cross-media narrative forms into their professional practice.

    Admission requirements

Participants are required to have a nationally recognised degree from a university of applied sciences, university or technical university, three years of professional experience in a related design discipline as well as basic knowledge in the fields of graphic design, typography and layout. Lateral entrants from related fields, such as marketing, industrial design, architecture, scenography, publishing and art, should attend the CAS Fundamentals of Typography. This continuing education course teaches the requisite fundamentals for the CAS Visual Storytelling. Interested candidates who do not have an appropriate degree may be admitted if they can provide detailed evidence of their continuing education and training and professional experience, and this is deemed equivalent.

Applicants must submit a covering letter as well as a detailed portfolio (dossier with work samples) with their application.
