The CAS Arts and Design in Practice course suits people who have already graduated from their first course of study in art, design, performance or arts pedagogy, and would like to deepen and expand their knowledge and competencies for professional life. It could also suit people who wish to study art and design strategies in relation to their previous employment.
Admission process
- Enrolment in writing with a covering letter and project sketch
- Learning goals based on a student’s own topic area are established in a personal discussion with the Head of the CAS Arts and Design in Practice course. Following this, a binding degree programme is created.
- Final ZHdK decision in regard to acceptance and reservation of a study place.
Enrolment for units
A separate enrolment is required for each of the chosen units.
The enrolment dates vary according to the component in question.
Requirements for certification
In order to graduate from the CAS Arts and Design in Practice course, students are required to complete four course units, develop and expand upon a personal concept created as part of the Mentored Project Development in the Arts module, as well as complete a written dissertation with a presentation.
