    Content

The CAS Arts and Design in Practice course facilitates various further education courses of ZHdK, with flexible training programmes that can be tailored to individual requirements. The focus is on those areas which are relevant to the professional practice of individual participants, and are not covered by a regular CAS course. Such areas can relate to all manner of cultural/educational disciplines, and can range from art and cultural education to graphics or design, film or photography, dance or theatre education, directing, and music and music education. This assists students to broaden and deepen their knowledge, and identify new trends in professional practice and theory. In doing so, they make themselves adaptable to the changing demands of their profession.
The core module of the CAS Arts and Design in Practice course is the "Mentored Project Development in the Arts" module. This can also support individuals who are facing professional challenges that bear a higher level of responsibility and complexity.

    Structure

The CAS Arts and Design in Practice course consists of

    • The completion of four units (further education courses made up of 20 lessons)
    • The Mentored Project Development in the Arts module
