Leandro Gianini studied classical percussion at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana. Afterwards he completed a sound engineering degree at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Since then he has been working as freelance sound engineer and as technical director for various productions in studio and live. Since 2019 he is a research associate at the ICST - Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology at ZHdK working extensively in the field of Performance Practice of Electroacoustic Music.
