The *Harmonie Progression Green Workshop* is an interactive group workshop that invites participants to explore the relationship between the classical music sector and the climate crisis. Through guided discussion, collaborative activities, and critical reflection, participants examine the challenges and opportunities of creating a more sustainable future for the arts.
The workshop addresses fundamental questions such as: Why is action on climate change essential? What are the barriers that make change difficult? How can individuals and organisations contribute to meaningful and lasting change? And what can the classical music community gain by placing greater value on environmental and social responsibility?
Designed as a participatory learning experience, the workshop combines plenary discussions with small-group exercises, creating space for dialogue, exchange of perspectives, and collective problem-solving. Rather than providing fixed solutions, it encourages participants to reflect on their own practice and identify realistic, impactful ways of taking action.
