MA Film

Our MA Film enables students to work out their own creative solutions in developing and realising individual film projects. Coursework builds on undergraduate studies and focuses on further deepening the skills needed for making feature films and documentaries.

Postgraduate coursework builds the specialist skills needed for directing actors, scriptwriting, and documentary narration. Coursework also builds the necessary planning, organisational, and leadership skills.

Each of our three creative profiles—Photography, Film Editing, and Creative Producing—focuses on developing the creative and production skills needed for professional filmmaking and on building the ability to work on film projects as a qualified artistic member of staff.

Coursework offers students the opportunity to work on feature films and documentaries as part of a team and under realistic conditions.
